Foundations of Public Speaking: Methods, Dynamics, and Qualitative Change

A comprehensive course covering the fundamental concepts of speechmaking combined with instructional practice in delivering winning presentations. Presentations are made with and without supporting materials. A variety of speech types are explored and delivered. Both in-class and outside instruction will be available to familiarize students with Microsoft PowerPoint, Apple Keynote, as well as other multimedia programs students chose to use during the course for visual aids.
